How to get there By car arriving from the north Take the A1 motorway; exit at Valdichiana-Bettolle (exit n. 28) and drive througth the village of Bettolle direction Torrita di Siena. After about 5 kilometers you will arrive in Torrita di Siena, at the traffic ligth turn left follow the directions for Montepulciano. After about 8 kilometres, in Montepulciano follow the directions and take the SS146 for Pienza. Two kilometres outside of Montepulciano turn left at the signpost for Relais Villa Poggiano and proceed for 800 metres, after which the entrance to the Villa is on the left. By car arriving from the south Take the A1 “Autostrada del Sole”; exit at Chiusi-Chianciano Terme (n 29). Follow the directions for Chianciano Terme (about 10 kilometres), go through the town of Chianciano and follow the directions for Montepulciano (about 9 kilometres). In Montepulciano at the crossroads known as Bivio di San Biagio, turn left for Pienza. Two kilometres outside of Montepulciano turn left at the signpost for Relais Villa Poggiano and proceed for 800 meters, after which the entrance to the Villa is on the left.
