“An oasis of peace in Tuscany.
Our hotel tip is situated in the most beautiful part of Tuscany.Villa Poggiano in Montepulciano dates from the 18th century and has been beautifully restored by its present owners.
You stay in a park on a hill with beautiful views on the Val d’Orcia. Dream away with the cypresses, many corners where you can sit, the fantastic swimming pool, the beautiful interior, the comfortable rooms.
VP serves a delicious breakfast. You can also have a light lunch, at noon and in the evening. There is no restaurant, but the best restaurant of Montepulciano is nearby (very good price/quality ratio). Also Montepulciano itself is nearby.
Those who like can follow a cooking class. Activities such as tennis and horse riding are possible nearby. If you stay during the summer months, and if you are lucky, you can attend a concert in the villa or outside at the pool.
The villa is also a good base from which to explore Tuscany: Pienza (11km)…Other interesting places : Bagno Vignoni …
What makes VP to be a special place is the hospitality of the owner Mrs Stefania Savini. She really makes the difference. She is the perfect hostess. She knows the region very well and she likes to share that knowledge with her guests. She finds it very important that guests feel at home.
To summarize : VP stands for a lot of peace(quietness), a lot of beauty, and even more hospitality.”
